THE CONFLUENCE CONFERENCE WILL PROCEED AS SCHEDULED!
We have been monitoring the developments of Hurricane Irma throughout the weekend, and have been communicating with our host hotel, The Francis Marion, as well as local officials. Due to the westward shift in Hurricane Irma's track over the weekend, and the change in storm impacts in Georgia, South Carolina & North Carolina, we believe we will be able to proceed with the 2017 Confluence Conference, September 14-15, 2017.
We have slightly adjusted our agenda for the Conference (click here to review), and have decided to forego the preconference workshop this year. Registration will begin at the Francis Marion Hotel Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 10:30 am, with the 2017 Confluence Conference beginning at noon.
We hope to see as many folks for Georgia as possible! However, we recognize that some of you will experience more significant impacts from the storm which may alter your plans to attend. If this is the case, you are asked to please contact the Francis Marion Hotel directly at (843) 722-0600 concerning your hotel reservations. When calling, please have your reservation number and reference the group name "Water Confluence."
Likewise, please contact Heather Beard at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone at (803) 358-0658, to adjust your conference registration.
